We often get questions like "is my vintage glass dishwasher safe?" and "how do I get my vintage wine glasses so nice and shiny?". Here are our go-to tips and tricks for different products and materials. This is how to prevent a glass from turning white or getting a rainbow sheen!
We hand wash all of our vintage glasses, and any items made of glass.
No exceptions!
Dishwashers can be too aggressive and leave glasses damaged or even broken. The glass is often very old and not made for the dishwasher.
Use a soft sponge and regular dish soap.
It is important to dry glasses right after washing them so that no drop stains can form. Use a soft, lint-free tea towel for this.
